Yes, we believe that the Bible is the Word of God and teaches us salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. God has given us gifts and talents to serve Him and among His people, and it’s our mission “to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ” Ephesians 4:12-13; for local and overseas ministries.

Hui (Hugh) is grateful to the Lord’s Call to serve among His people at Sorrento and Rye Parish since 2014. He was the Parish Minister at Skipton and Lismore from 2008 to 2014. His theological training includes; Diploma of Bible Studies (New Tribes Bible College, Syd), Bachelor of Ministries (Bible College of Victoria), Advance Diploma of Theology (Missiology)(Bible College of Victoria), Master of Arts in Theology (Ridley College) & Diploma in Theology (Presbyterian Theological College). He is happily married and blessed with a son.
OUR TWO CHURCHES
St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church is older than Rye Presbyterian Church. In September 2023 St. Andrew's had its 135th anniversary (foundation stone laid, October 1888), while the original Rye Church was built in 1904, and the existing building was built in 1969.

All are welcome to join our services. Choose to go to Rye where our sermons are held in the mornings or go to St. Andrews where evening services are held. We have had people from across the world and different cultures attending our services and many are already part of our congregation.
